The Story of Hatchet Bay Public Library
Freedom to Read Inc. started working with community members in Hatchet Bay in 2014. The Hatchet Bay Library opened in July 2015.
The library has about a thousand books for a community of 800 people. The main patrons are students who come in after school. The library attendant, Levada Ingraham, is a former primary school principal whose has devoted her life to education. |
