FEBRUARY 2022 - Freedom to Read Inc. often partners with other community groups to make Eleuthera a better place.
In February, we once again volunteered to clean beaches with Clean Beaches Eleuthera and Eleuthera Sustainability Council in Rock Sound and Tarpum Bay. We cleaned up plastic bottles, beer bottles, diapers, plastic octopus pots, and debris from boats. Freedom to Read Inc. Founder Susan Siel is on the board of Clean Beaches Eleuthera. To date, Clean Beaches Eleuthera has collected over 7,400 pounds of trash. |
