COVID can't stop us: Volunteers work on library collections at Green Castle Public Library and Harbour Island Green School Library

JULY, 2021 - Like many nonprofit organizations, Freedom to Read Inc. had only a limited number of volunteers during 2020's COVID outbreak. But in the summer of 2021, we were blessed with many volunteers giving their time to the libraries of Eleuthera:

• Local activist Eric Wallace started "Clean Beaches Eleuthera" and came by to show support for the work we do. 
• Skidmore College students Tova and Kate were interns on Eleuthera and we were lucky to have them help us out.
• Mitchell and Alison of Kenosha, Wisconsin, had wanted to come help for years and were finally able to make the trip.​
• Dona is a longtime visitor and volunteer on Eleuthera. She brought her sister to put labels on spines.
